The basic aim of the project is to provide childcare before and after school and during school holidays to children of primary school age. The children should attend Borestone, Braehead, St Ninians, St Mary’s, Bannockburn Primary Schools and Castleview during term-time. Children from any school are welcome during school holidays.

Voluntary out of School care

The Scottish Office approved Alsorts Out of School Care as a voluntary organisation in May 1993. A working group of local people was then set up to progress the project. The start date was 1 June 1994 and the first child started with the project in October. We have a Service Level Agreement with Stirling Council.
